How it Works
Horizon Housing Fund is a privately funded rental subsidy program designed to assist parents and caregivers of deaf and blind children who are struggling to secure stable housing.
Because we operate as a private funding source, our assistance is a last resort option. To qualify, applicants must provide proof that they have:
- Been denied government rental assistance, or
- Been on a waitlist for at least 90 days without receiving a clear update on their application status.
If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible for rent subsidy support for 24 months through our program.
Important Information About Our Program
Limited Funding Availability
Our current donations limit the resources we can provide, and we are unable to cover security deposits at this time. Applicants should seek security deposit assistance through government programs or other community resources before applying for our rental subsidy.
